The 'Twilight Saga' beauty states, 'I can't believe I'm doing this', when MTV News' Josh Horowitz asks her to read a steamy section from the best-selling book.
Kristen Stewart has to face an unexpected challenge during a recent interview with MTV News' Josh Horowitz. The "
Twilight Saga" beauty couldn't hide her blushing face as she was told to read a sexy part from E. L. James' much-talked-about erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey".
At first, the "
On the Road" actress confessed that she's interested in reading the best-selling book but she hasn't got the time to do that. "I haven't bought ['Fifty Shades'] yet," the brunette beauty admitted, "I'm kind of dying to read it."
Surprisingly, Horowitz brought her a copy of the book and urged her to read a steamy section from it. Looking startled, Kristen finally agreed to read it and as she got to a scene where Ana pushes Christian onto her bed, the actress took a short pause and raised her eyebrows.
"I just saw 'sliding fingers' and I just didn't know what that was regarding," Kristen said. The 22-year-old actress looked uncomfortable with the challenge that she couldn't even finish the line before closing the book and saying, "I can't believe I'm doing this."
At the end of her interview, the long-rumored girlfriend of
Robert Pattinson shared, "I've seen people read this on airplanes." She continued, "And I'm always like, 'Ewww. Take that blanket off your lap you freak'."
Kristen was apparently not the only one who received the tricky challenge from Horowitz. Her "
Snow White and the Huntsman" co-stars,
Chris Hemsworth and
Charlize Theron, also got the same request from the host.
As soon as Horowitz passed the book to Chris, the Australian actor laughed and stated, "I'm not even touching that." The "
Thor" star then reluctantly read a small part of the novel before giving it back to the interviewer.
On the other hand, Charlize really got into the spirit. "I know this book very well," the Oscar winner told Horowitz before grabbing the book from his hand and starting to demonstrate the scene she read.
A film adaptation of "
Fifty Shades of Grey" is currently in the works at Universal Pictures. People have been speculating on who are the right actors to play Ana and Christian, who are tangled in an S&M relationship, in the movie.
